Park Łazienkowski – Royal Baths Park – in Warsaw, Poland, is one of the most beautiful and magical parks I know of. It has a sense of place, history and a magic: I feel magic there and cherish every moment spent under the lovely canopy of trees.

Every time I visit Warsaw I make it a point to be here. Some of my fondest feelings of peace and joy came from spending time in this park. I’ve been here in the summer, fall and winter. Spring is the only season that I keep missing, but it must be one of wonder as the trees push out new leaves and the place comes to life.
My favorite season from the three I know is fall, when the colors are warm and the days short; when at three p.m. the sun shines low through the young and old trunks.
