On The Road – A Central Phoenix Neighborhoods Project

By Artur Ciesielski | Challanges

As an avid user of Airbnb I’m rather fond of their neighborhoods pages. I’ve been using them extensively for the cities I’m going to visit in Europe later this year. Their appeal is a simple visual format with lots of photos and few, but carefully chosen descriptive words that together bring out the character of each neighborhood.

It is this style that I’m using in a new project for our inPhoenix real estate site. Since we focus primarily on Central Phoenix the initial neighborhoods I’ll be working on are Downtown, Midtown and Uptown Phoenix, Dreamy Draw, Sunnyslope, Biltmore, Arcadia.

The bike is my vehicle of choice for this since it allows me to get around and through the many nooks and crannies in Phoenix. The photo above was from the first trip in Uptown Phoenix which ended early as my SD card in the camera ran out of room.

It’s summer and the go will be slow, mostly relegated to morning hours unless I’m in some coffee shop testing out pastries and sipping on coffee.

I think it will be fun and a good reason to hit the bike in the mornings.
