About a week ago Whole Foods had a sale on tulips: 3 bunches for $10.00 – a good deal by my measure, so I got 3 bunches. It was a wonderful treat to have so many tulips at home and that time is ending for now.
I love this period of their lifespan, fully open, bursting with color and character: such beautiful flowers, but then all of them are, yet tulips are the szlachta.
